On Wednesday, September 15, we are planning a visit to the Kirkland Sawmill in Kirkland Illinois. Members will be provided with an overview of sawmill and kiln operations and see a demonstration of the sawmill equipment. Kirkland has an extensive supply of kiln dried hardwoods so this will be a good opportunity to stock up for your fall and winter wood projects. Payment can be by either cash or check.
For those interested in carpooling we will depart from Panera's located at 541 Roosevelt Road in the Glen Ellyn Market Plaza at 9:00 a.m. We are planning to have luch at the Kirkland Family restaurant before returning.
